This is my second season as a member of the Reel Grip Pro Staff. I use Reel Grip on all my rods. They're a great addition to my setup and have helped me win tournaments from Alabama to Florida. I use them specifically to identify my rods. A crucial component to quickly identify different line weights while on the water during tough competitions.

I’ve used Reel Grips since 2006, and I wouldn't’t fish a tournament without them.

They helped me win the 2008 Arkansas Junior State Championship and finish 3rd in the Nation at the 2008 FLW Junior World Championship. I am able to throw a crank bait all day long in comfort without my hands getting tired. Reel Grips also work great in the rain, or on damp, foggy mornings. It’s the confidence knowing my hand won’t slip or I won’t mis-reel.

I have Reel Grips on all my Quantum reels – they are as important to me as using the right bait or line. Plus, they look pretty cool too! You can order them right here on the web site in a variety to colors.

Dave Lefebre writes:

"Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best ones. When I put my ReelGrips on my Shimano reel handles for the first
time, I knew I'd be needing a bunch more in a hurry. These are the coolest little things to hit the fishing industry in years. Not only do they add to the performance and over-all feel of my reels, They also
look cool in the many different colors. I highly doubt I'll ever fish without ReelGrips again !"

Joe Balog

2001 EverStart National Champion

Joe Balog Writes:

"After using the Reelgrip product for just a few hours, I knew it was for me. I placed the grips on half of my reels, and the reels without reelgrip began to feel awkward.
I couldn't believe what a difference the grips made. I had to have them on all of my rods in order to feel comfortable when switching from rod to rod.The size of the Reelgrip handle adds a comfort level that is just indescribable - until you use a reel without one."

Katrina E. DeHaven

National Tournament Angler

Katrina Writes:

When I first saw the reel grip I knew exactly what it was for and what it would do. Do to Mother Nature this year, I found that 75% of my tournaments took place in the rain which really does not bother me but I needed something that would give me a better percentage of landing my fish. I also needed a way that I could not compromise my grip when I needed to fish with gloves.
Since I have used the product for over 6 months, I have landed fish in cold weather, rain and even in the best of climates. It is a very essential part of having control as a fisherman especially in the manner in which we all compete. I have even stated that I sometimes feel that if I do not land the fish it was not because of the reel grip or lack of but it was because of the fisherman... SMILE I put my full stamp of approval and challenge anyone to try it once and see what they think. I have also used the reel grip for opening small bottles with necks example nail polish and even have placed them on some of my grips for my tool handles. It is just not for reels. As our owner and his team were creative, I challenge all anglers to see what else this invention can assist in....

Roderick Lee (NoSked)

Roderick Lee (NoSked) Writes:

For once, here's an economical accessory with immediate and real benefits. Enlarges the reel knobs. Provides better friction/traction whether wet or dry. Different colors allows for faster identification of technique specific rod/reel combinations. In fishing whether your in tournament competition or just having fun, being able focus is critical.
Reel Grip allows me to focus on fishing, the enlarged reel knobs are easier to identify and grasp with out having to take my eyes off of my line, rod tip or next the casting target, plus they offer a better traction when cranking or fighting fish. Make Reel Grips a critical component to your fishing success.

Reelgrip comes through time after time with added comfort and grip. I liked these so much I ordered enough for my entire boat! Would I endorse this product? You bet! " larger image
